Featured Story

Chuck & I met in 2001 when I first moved to Destin.

His best friend was dating my best friend, so we became fast friends.

Over the next few years, we became the best of friends.

He knew so well that my boyfriend's would get mad and jealous of our friendship.

Plus, he was there for my weakest and strongest point of my teenage life.

I didn't know it at the time, but liked me since the day we met, but he wanted to be a good friend.

After high school, I got out of a relationship with my high school sweetheart, and started

having strong feelings for Chuck because he was there for me when I needed him the most.

We began dating and moved in together 6 months later. It was so nice to have

someone in my life that I could trust and knew so well.

A year and half after we started

dating, he proposed to me on Christmas Day with a ring that I passed by one day and said

I loved.

Although I messed up the original proposal that morning. He was suppose to put it

on "Honey Bear" his childhood bear that we found and kept by our bed. So instead we went to his mothers house and I had no idea what was going on. Then in front of all his family he popped the question.

We set the date for July 20, 2008.

Of course, we immediately thought of Amy because she had taken our beach picture in

November, and we loved her work.

The Big day was so perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I felt so beautiful and of course my bridesmaids looked hot too.

I never once had second doubts and I think thats how you should feel on your big day.

As I walked up the stairs I knew that moment would forever change my life and last name.

Chuck looked at me so loving with a huge smile and his face, and almost forgot to repeat one line of the vows. He said I took his breath away.

As I look back at our photographs, I loved

everything about my wedding day and it was truly the happiest day of my life.

Thanks Amy!
